Each summer, in the heart of the Canadian Badlands, a group of actors, crew, and volunteers perform the story of the life of Christ on Canada’s largest outdoor stage. The play is performed on over 6 acres of playing space in the spectacular Badlands Amphitheatre. Now in its 29th season, over 280,000 guests have experienced the Badlands Passion Play.

The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes

Role: Howard Barnes 


Howard Barnes is a perfectly average man in his early thirties, until the day he awakens to discover that his life has become a musical. Desperate to escape from the show, Howard embarks on a fantastical quest through the realm of musical theatre. Equal parts satire, romantic comedy, and love letter to the American musical, The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes is intended for people who love musical theatre, and their spouses who hate it!

London Road

In late 2006 the everyday life of the quiet rural town of Ipswich was shattered by the discovery of the bodies of five women. As Steve Wright, the occupant of No. 79, was arrested, charged and then convicted of the murders, the immediate community grappled with the media frenzy and what it meant to be at the epicentre of this tragedy.

Punch Up!

Role: Duncan 


Duncan has always been a pretty boring guy, until he stumbles upon Brenda, a sad young woman who’s about to end her life. Convinced he’s fallen in love, Duncan strikes up a desperate deal: if he can get her to laugh, she'll give life another shot, but if she doesn’t even giggle, he'll help her go through with her plan. There’s just one catch: Duncan isn’t funny. At all.

Three unlikely friends take control of their office and learn there is nothing they can't do, even in a man's world. Based on the seminal 1980 hit movie of the same name and set in the late 1970s, this is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is an outrageous, thought-provoking musical comedy with a touch of romance.

Filet and her sister Brisket live in a whimsical, diluted, pun-filled town called Meatland. Battling between curiosity and managing her mental health, Filet is unable to open the literal door and get answers. Once she finds a poster that conflicts with everything she knows, she decides to face her disorder and learn the truth.

Guys and Dolls

Role: Lt. Brannigan 


Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls is an oddball romantic comedy. Gambler, Nathan Detroit, tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck; meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for fourteen years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, and Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown, as a result.

Dani Girl

Role: Marty 


Why is Cancer? When Dani, a spunky, imaginative nine year old girl, is diagnosed with leukemia, she will stop at nothing to answer this question. Armed with her teddy bear, imaginary friend, and movie-obsessed hospital roommate, Dani embarks on a magical journey to reclaim what is rightfully hers – her hair. This hilarious and heartbreaking musical is a story of make-believing and believing, which might not be that different after all.

Set in the East Village of New York City, Rent is about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today. Based loosely on Puccini's La Boheme, Jonathan Larson's Rent follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create in New York's Lower East Side, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.

We face a choice - compassion or competition? Frank and Bill, two egotistical men are caught in a constant one-upmanship for seemingly no reason. This dramatic-comedy is an exploration of what happens when the desire to be first outweighs our compassion for others.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Role: Peter Quince 


Shakespeare’s timeless classic, with misapplied love potions, mistaken identities and the most famous play-within-a play ever written. Telling the story of four young lovers wandering through a forest on the eve of a royal wedding. The four unknowingly collide with feuding fairies and a troupe of actors, and when the fairies’ magic love potion goes horribly wrong, confusion and hijinks ensue.
